Family members share why the death penalty is harmful, ask legislature to abolish it.

WHO:

Murder victims’ family members from across Montana with David Kaczynski, brother of Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber.

The group will present a letter signed by more then 50 murder victims’ family members, calling for an end to Montana’s death penalty. The letter supports Senate Bill 185, a bill to abolish the death penalty and replace it with life without parole, and will be sent to members of the Montana State Legislature. Senate Bill 185 recently passed the Montana State Senate. There will be a hearing on the bill in the House Judiciary Committee on March 15th, 2011.
