it with Life Imprisonment without the Possibility of Release.
It was co-sponsored by Representatives Joan Hurdle, Michelle Lee, Tom Facey, Dave Wanzenried and Senators John
Bollinger, “Chris” Christiaens, Jon Ellingson, Mike Halligan, Ken Toole, and Mignon Waterman.
It was heard in House Judiciary on February 8, 2001 and voted to the floor by a vote of 19 -1. It sustained a technical amendment on the floor and ultimately failed 36 – 64.
